"William “Bill” Osborne, 75, of Hemphill, WV, passed away, Thursday, January 3, 2019 at McDowell Nursing and Rehabilitation in Gary, WV. Born February 1, 1943 in Welch WV, he was the son of the late George and Gladys Short Osborne.
He was a retired coal miner. He enjoyed reading his bible and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny and David Osborne.
Survivors include, his wife of fifty-four years, Zola Osborne, sons William Osborne Jr (Carolyn), Lonnie Osborne (Barbara), and daughter Lisa Clevinger (Billy). Six grandchildren, Brianne Osborne, Steven Osborne, Isabella Mitchell, Mahala Taylor, Lonnie Osborne Jr, and Jeremy Clevinger. One brother, George Osborne, two sisters, Susan Morgan and Margaret Barbour.
Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, January 7, 2019 at 12 Noon from the Little Vine Baptist Church in Superior WV, with Pastors Ray Altizer and Tommy Belcher officiating; burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell WV. Friends may call Monday, January 7, 2019 from 11 A.M. to 12 Noon at the Little Vine Baptist Church in Superior WV.
