"Laura Marie Adkins Lafferty Tolliver 91, of Ravencliff went home to be with the Lord on Monday January 7, 2019."Born March 8, 1927 in Terry, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Estie Martin Adkins.
"Laura was a longtime member of the Ravencliff Church of God of Prophecy. She owned and operated Laura's Grocery in Ravencliff. She worked and operated her store until she had reached the age of 85.
"In additon to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband Roy M. Lafferty Sr. Her 2nd husband Posey Tolliver, her daughter Mary Evans, and 2 sisters and 1 brother she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
"Those left to cherish her memory include her Four sons Roy Lafferty Jr and his wife Lora of Ravencliff, David Lafferty and his wife Rebecca L. of Huntsville Al, Timmy Lafferty and his wife Rebecca R. of Ravencliff, and Troy Lafferty of West Palm Beach Florida. 14 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of step children, nieces, nephews, and many friends."
