Elbert Brown, the son of Geo. V. and M. C. Brown. He was born Dec. 20, 1889 and died Dec. 14, 1894, age 4 years 11 months and 24 days. Little Elbert as a student, with his bright eyes was quick to learn, and as a boy of his age, prospects were such that, he was following in the steps of the brother who has passed him in the line of life.Little Elbert will be no more in the school-room. His seat is vacant. But we must live so as to meet him in the sweet by and by. We extend our sympathy to the family and hope they may strive to meet those who are waiting for them on the other shore.

"Robert Rex Cline, 79 of Mohawk, departed this life on Thursday, April 10, 2014, from CAMC General Hospital in Charleston."Born on February 16, 1935, at Mohawk, he was the son of the late Robert “Bob” and Margaret Cline.
"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cline; one son, Terry Harold Cline; two sister, Florence Lester and Berchie Branch Reynolds; and five brothers: Harold, Wendell, Butler, Clyde and George “Jay” Cline.
"Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a retired coal miner and of the Old Regular Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time with his wonderful family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
