She was the wife of the late Clyde Arnett with whom she shared 30 years of marriage."Born on October 12, 1929, in Cucumber, WV, she was the daughter of the late Mary Magdaline (Ward) and the Rev. Lester Clyde Senter.
"Mrs. Arnett was devoted to her family who she loved very much. She enjoyed nature, "feeling the sun on her face", "sitting on the porch", and puzzles. She loved singing gospel music, and at one time she sang on the radio with her cousin, Pauline. Even in the nursing home, she was often heard singing.
"Helen was a member of the Victory Freewill Baptist Church in Hanover.
"She leaves to cherish her memory eight children, Charles Harrison (wife Ellen) of Baton Rouge, LA, Clinton Senter (wife Debra) of Williamstown, PA, Deborah Hengst (husband Todd) of Spring Grove, PA, Jerome Arnett of Hanover, PA, LaDonna Killinger (husband Arnold) of Dover, PA, Rita Arnett (fiance Dan Abata) of Spring Grove, PA, and Wayne Arnett (wife Melissa) and Shawn Arnett, both of Hanover; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Burleigh "Bud" Senter (wife Lorretta) of North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
