"Elmer “JR” Stacy, 17, of Welch passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Welch Community Hospital of injuries received from an ATV accident. Born June 23, 2001 he was the son of Ricky Anthony Justice and Patricia Ann Mitchell. He was a student at Mt. View High School, and attended Trinity Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church, Welch. He loved riding his 4-wheeler, and being with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ralph Lawson Justice and Hazel Mae Justice, and Harold D. Mitchell and Marie Mitchell. In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, Ricky A. Justice Jr. of the home and Tyler Mitchell of Panther; two sisters, Tamberlea Meadows of Hinton, and Chrissy Powell of Panther; and a special aunt and uncle, Helen and Jackie Kidd of Maitland. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, March 26 at 11 a.m. in Trinity Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church, Stewart St., Welch with the Rev. Dan Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in Justice Family Cemetery in Panther. Friends may call at the church Monday, March 25 after 6 p.m. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. A native of Sago, Franklin County, Virginia; he was a son of Dolly Moorman and the late Sam Burger.
