"Earvin Kenneda, 74, of Simon, WV passed away from his Earthly Home on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 6, 1947 in Coal Mountain, WV a son of the late Edgar and Dorothy Combs Kenneda. He is a United States Marine Corp Veteran. Earvin was an underground coal miner for thirty years and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching wrestling. His sense of humor and chatty personality will be missed by all who loved and knew him. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Betty Kenneda, sisters Freda (Boyd) Lusk, Virgie Morgan, Kathy Kenneda, and Karen Kenneda brothers Earl (Cindy) Kenneda, Okey (Carla) Kenneda and grandchildren Lakie Renee Jackson and Kyle Ray Kenneda. Those left to cherish his memory include his five children Michelle Bishop of Brenton, Nathan (Melissa) Kenneda of Brenton, Kevin (Jessica) Kenneda of Justice, Ginger Toler of Simon, April (Larry) Jackson of North Spring a bonus son Robert Tanner of Pineville, two sisters Trish (Chuck) Williams of Lexington NC, and Virginia (Otis) Brooks of Simon a brother Eddie Kenneda of Lexington NC, seventeen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
