"Rosa Lee (Atwell, Rippeth) Stacy became absent of body and present with the Lord at approximately 6:10 PM on May 14, 2019. Rosa spent her life as a ministering flame of the Lord and a worshiper. She was born in Raysal Hollow on March 21st, 1945. She traveled and sang, prayed and proclaimed, the gospel of Jesus Christ across the Appalachian Mountains. Her mother Mamie and father Isaac led the way across the river Jordan, along with her husband Robert Eugene Rippeth Sr. She was also preceded by husband Walter Stacy and his son Michael, Brother Buford, Brother Ralph, Brother David, Brother Ernest, Sister Josephine, Sister Dorothy, Sister Shelvia, Sister Connie and Sister Louise.
She is survived by Brother Ora Atwell of Berwind, WV and Brother Noah Atwell and wife Pearlie of North Carolina. She is also survived by her son, Robert Eugene Rippeth Jr., wife Andrea, grandsons Draven and Robert III, and granddaughters Aria, Staley and Brenna and a very special niece who was more like a daughter, Bonnie and her husband Tony Mullins and family of Kentucky. She is also survived by sons Bobby Stacy and wife Patricia and their children and grandchildren, Roger and Crystal Stacy and their children and grandchildren, Barney and Polly Stacy and their children and grandchildren, and Cheryl and Donald Hess and their children and grandchildren.
We will be celebrating her life by worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ at the Slate Creek Church of the Living God at Raysal on Thursday evening, May 16, 2019 at 5 PM. Services will commence Friday morning, May 17, 2019 at 10 AM and end at Tom Sparks Cemetery. Cousin and beloved friend, Pastor Charles Rose and Pastor Ricky Garlic will officiate...."
