"Born March 7, 1926 in Newhall he was the son of the late Thomas Brewster and Minnie Brewster. He was a World Warr II veteran of the U.S. Army, and was a retired coal miner of 35 years. He was a member of the War Advent Christian Church.
"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Irene Brewster, and two brothers and two sisters. He as the last member of his immediate family.
"Those left to cherish his memory are two sons, Larry Brewster and wife Linda, and David Brewster all of War; four grandchildren, Valerie (Dave) Ball of Raleigh, NC, Bethany (William) Dalton of Bristol, VA, Joanna (Robbie) Crockett of War, and David (Megan) Walker of Tazewell, VA; and great grandchildren, Emily and Allison Ball, Fletcher and Abagail Dalton, Iszak and Avery Muncy, Alexis Crockett and Madeline Walker.
