"Mine Mishap Kills Logan Man, Age 25
MAN—A 25-year-old Logan County man
was killed Monday while at work in Chafin
Coal Company's Rich Creek mine near
here.
"Wilburn Terry Hanshaw died in the
emergency room of Man Appalachian Regional
Hospital, officials said.
Company spokesmen said Hanshaw was
in the process of putting rock dusting
equipment on a piece of machinery when
the machine rolled backwards and
crushed him against the roof of the mine.
Surviving are his wife. Donna; son, Terry
at home; parents. Mr. and Mrs. Euell
Hanshaw of Coal Mountain; sisters, Miss
Mary Hanshaw, Miss Deany Hanshaw and
Mrs. Bonnie Collins; all of Coal Mountain,

WV. He was born on June 13, 1961 in Logan, WV a son of the late Eula Bud and Allie Mae Hatfield Hanshaw. In
addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Terry Lee and Wilburn Hanshaw. Survivors
include three sisters Mary Cecil of Beckley, Vonnie Mae Collins of Sunhill and Deannia Ann (Earl) Reed of Glover;
two brothers John (Gloria) Hanshaw of Skin Fork and Bud Hanshaw, Jr. of Brenton; niece and caretaker and who
he made his home with Rosinna Toler; two nieces Allie Mae (Tommy) Blankenship and Frauline Michell (Bryan)
Wolfe; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday March 13th in

born november 25 1925 in wyoming county wv, he was the son of the late grover and mary mexie goodman cline.
onnie was a pentecostal faith. he enjoyed working on his property and hauling junk vehicles.. he loved gospel music and being with his grandchildren. in addition to his parents
son, donnie cline , 3 sisters nelly and virgie and corby chryczyk and 6 brothers woodrow , bob , orah, virgle, tex, don,preceded him in death.

He was born on August 8, 1943 in Beckley, WV a son of the late Orville Frelin and Madeline Taylor Wimmer. Ray was a retired coal miner from US Steel. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Ella Wimmer, two sons Phillip and Orval Wimmer, Jr., a sister Joann Cantrell, and three brothers Virgil, Eddie Joe and Dickie Wimmer. Survivors include two daughters, Lea Wimmer of Groton, SD and Vanessa (Russ) Bethke of Bristol, SD, a son Christopher Wimmer of Oceana, a sister Roberta (Jim) Stone of Denver, NC special family friend who was like a son Eddie (Angela) Blankenship of Kopperston, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
