grandchildren Landon Bowling and Zoey Thompson; and a host of other loving family and friends. In

KOPPERSTON - Dorothy Lorraine Whitt, 90, departed this life Monday, March 3, 2008, at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness."Dorothy was born June 30, 1917, at Farley Hill to the late James Whitley McGraw and Hazeltine Bailey McGraw.
"Dorothy was a homemaker, lived in Kopperston for 56 years, was a longtime member of Farley Hill Community Church and attended Family Praise and Worship Center in Oceana. She loved her family and attending church. She also enjoyed reading and keeping up with current events. She studied and read God's word daily.
"In addtion to her parents, she was prededed in death by her husband, Leigh Whitt; a son, John Duane Whit; eight brothers, Wesley McGraw, Clyde McGraw, Luke McGraw, George McGraw, Brennan McGraw, John McGraw, Gene McGraw and Willard McGraw; two grandchildren, Misty Smith and John Smith; a great-granddaughter, Maria Beth Stover; and a son-in-law, Oliver Ray Smith.
