"Born April 8, 1938 in Yukon she was the daughter of the late Joel Ray and Pearl Honaker Ray. She attended Big Creek High School in War, and served as City Recorder for the town of War for over 19 years.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Millard Lee Deel; two sons, Ronald Lee Deel and David Wayne Deel; two sisters, Florine Richardson and Margaret Boyd; and five brothers, Chester, Billy, Estel, Jimmy and Lawrence Ray.
"Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Roger Deel of Warriormine; her daughter, Diana Cochran and husband Steve of Beckley; three sisters, Betty Hayes, Ruth Pack and Zola Boyd all of Warriormine; five grandchildren, Hollie Williams, Allie Deel, David Lee Deel, Carrie Spencer and Ann Marie Spencer; and two great grandsons, Waylan Deel and Liam VanDyke.
