"Teddy Franklin Mullens, 73, of Union Drive, Princeton died Tuesday morning, October 15, 2019, at Duke/Raleigh Hospital, Raleigh NC with his family by his side. Born June 17, 1946 at Helen, he was the son of the
late Romie Cecil and Avonell Nunez Mullens.
Teddy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Teddy was a 1964 graduate of Pineville High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict from 1966 to 1968. He retired in 2008 after 40 years of service as a locomotive engineer with Norfolk/Southern Railroad. Teddy enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was an avid WVU Mountaineer fan. He never met a stranger and was always helping someone in need. He loved his family and kept his granddaughters entertained and laughing.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Connie Collins Mullens;
Two loving sons,
Matt Mullens and wife Julie of Christiansburg, VA,
Jeff Mullens and wife Gina of Princeton;
Three loving granddaughters whom he dearly loved, Morgan and Karsen Mullens both of Christiansburg, VA, Isabella Mullens of Princeton;

"Ron J. Hedrick, 70, of Cannon Street, Princeton, WV, passed away on Saturday, October 20,2019 at his home.
Born on October 8, 1949 in Montcalm, he was a son of the late Marshall James and Verneda Kendrick Hedrick.
He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam. He was a retired manager for Brooks Automotive in PA and then the Cole Auto Group in Bluefield. He had a love and passion for cars and the automotive industry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Hedrick.
Survivors include
his son, Travis (Melissa) Hedrick of Latrobe, PA;
brother, Kenneth (Millie) Hedrick and their son Kory of Charlotte, NC; and Ernestine Hedrick of NC.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Rev. Jonathan Riggins officiating. Burial will follow with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Military honors will be performed by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 AM.
