"Evelyn Victoria Lester, 87, of Clear Fork, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 27, 2019
at Wyoming Nursing and Rehabilitation, New Richmond, WV. She was born on July 18, 1932 in Simon, WV a
daughter of the late Albert and Rosa Vannatter Blankenship. Evelyn was a member of the Clear Fork
Independent Church of God and was the last living member of her immediate family. In addition to her
parents she is preceded in death by her siblings Finley, Buster, Robert, Woodrow, Maggie, Opal, Ruby and
her twin Edwin. Survivors include two daughters Rhonda (Hannibal) Blankenship, Jr. of Clear Fork and
Debbie (C.S. Parker) Stewart of Mullens; four grandchildren Kevin (Tammy) Blankenship, Darren (Rhonda
Harless) Blankenship, Shannon (Sarah) Stewart and Courtney (Nick Vance) Stewart and their father Oliver
Stewart; three great grandchildren Cassie Blankenship, Tanner Stewart and Aidan Blankenship; and a host
of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Saturday August 31st in the
Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Pastor Hannibal Blankenship, Jr. officiating. She
will be laid to rest in Blankenship Cemetery, Clear Fork, WV. Friends. may gather with the family from
12PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kevin Blankenship, Darren
Blankenship, Aidan Blankenship, Shannon Stewart, Tanner Stewart, Monroe Cole and Nick Vance. Special
