"Charles Edward Brewer, 45, 5123 Lincoln Highway, died at 9:13 p.m. Aug. 17, 1991 , at his home. He had been seriously ill with lung cancer for the past 11 months."Mr. Brewer was born March 28, 1946, in Hensley, W.Va., to the late Charles E. Brewer Sr. and Evelyn (Foley) Brewer Bowman. He was married feb. 3, 1974, to Ruth (Wright) Brewer, who survives.
"Also surviving are nine children including margaret Brewer of Bucyrus, Stephanie Brewer, at home, Randy and Ashley Bowman, at home, a brother, Terry Foley of Walled Lake, Mich., two half-brothers, Frank and Billy Bowman, four sisters, Mrs. Jim (Wanda) Wilcox of Clarkston, Mich., Mrs. Gary (Brenda0) Riley of Attica, Shirley Willett of Warren, Mich., and Drema Turner of Bucyrus, and two grandchildren.
"Mr. Brewer lived most of his life in the area and attended Colonel Crawford schools. He was most recently employed by H.P.M. in Mt. Gilead but had worked for several years at Galion Dresser. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Crestline and was a member of the Crawford County Coon Hunters Association.
