"Laura Myrtle Moore Adkins was my mother-in-Law Sylvia Lambert's mother.My husband Daniel and I made many trips to the top of the mountain to put flowers on her and her husband George Adkins graves.Myrtle as most called her,would never tell Sylvia anything about the family.All that Sylvia ever found out and passed onto her children is that her father was James mayberry.James and Myrtle had 2 other children together besides Sylvia.Pearl who married Paul Steel and Roy who hopped a train at the age of 12 and was never to be seen again.From what we have gathered they were from the Welch Wva area and Myrtle was born in Kentucky.Myrtle brought Sylvia to the Harts WVa area when she was about 5.We do not know the connection of myrtle to this area.Myrtle worked for the school as a Janitor at one time.James mayberry worked in the coal mines.Paul Steel worked for the rail Road.Any additional information would be appreciated.email heyu@bright.net "
