"Thomas Lee Graybeal 84, of Wolfpen passed away on Friday August 7, 2020 at Raleigh General Hospital surrounded by his family."Born July 19, 1936 in Hemphill in McDowell county he was the son of the late Carl and Vester Weaver Graybeal.
"Tommy was a coal truck driver, and he was an owner and operator for over 50 years. He was a family man who enjoyed time with his wife, children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews. If you were a friend you were a friend for life. He had a heart so big I am not sure how his body contained it. Tommy would help anyone in need, without judgement of who they were. He loved his dog Fluff and the two were inseperable. She went everywhere with him. He was a great, humble and honest man. His smile was contagious to all those around him. He enjoyed working on his John Deer lawn mower, and visiting with his friends at the Post Office. Tommy gave his heart to the Lord shortly after his wife's passing.
