Eugene New, 78, of Brenton, WV went home to be with Jesus on Monday, December 7, 2015 at CAMC
General, Charleston, WV. He was born on December 22, 1936 in McCarr, KY a son of the late Everette and
Mannie New. Eugene was attended the Brenton Baptist Church for over 30 years and was a member of the
UMWA. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four brothers Charley Akers, Walter Akers,
Junior Akers and Payton Akers; and a sister Soffey Lee Evens. Those left to cherish his memories are his
loving wife of 54 years Ina Geraldine Vance New who was the love of his life; a daughter Ina Jean New of
Brenton; a son Herbert J. New of Hanover; two brothers Arland New of FL and Julus Tilley of DE; four
grandchildren Roy (Christy) New of Glover, Johnny L. New of Gloucester, VA, Sarah New of Parkersburg
and Jamie New of Beckley; four great grandchildren Paisley New who was his first great grandchild and the
love of his life, Audrey New, Aiden C. New and Emma Price; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Brenton Baptist Church,
Brenton, WV with Rev. Tommy Knotts officiating. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens,
Matheny, WV.

"Herbert Junior New, 66, of Ikes Fork, WV passed away on June 16, 2020 at his home. He was born on March 31,
1954 in Welch, WV a son of Geraldine Vance New of Brenton and the late Eugene New. Herbert retired from US
Steel Pinnacle Mine and is a member of the UMWA. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a sister Ina
Jean New; and nephew Johnny Lee New. In addition to his mother survivors include his companion and caretaker
Barbara Facello Bishop; two daughters Jaime New of Beckley and Sara (Mitch) Mills of Parkersburg; three sisters
Ethel Marie (Whitie Lester) Toler of Hanover, Margie Sammons of Bradshaw and Shelby Sammons of Hanover;
two brothers Lawrence (Delana) Sammons of Hanover and Joe (Karen) Simpson of Brookville, PA; one grandchild
Emma Price; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Friday June
19th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Tommy Knotts officiating. He will be
laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 5-8 pm on

"Calista Nicole Crouch Trent., 42, of Crouch's Farm, WV passed away on Friday August 7th, 2020. She was born on
November 04, 1977 in Beckley, WV, a daughter of Letha Ellison Crouch of Crouch's Farm and the late Robert D.
Crouch. She was a 1996 Graduate of Oceana High School, a 2000 Graduate of Southern WV LPN school and had
completed her RN/BSN at Mountain State University in 2009. She was a beloved mother and daughter and will be
missed by her family and friends. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister, Desiree Crouch.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her daughters, Finley Crouch and Kylee Trent; her son, Dylan Trent;

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4: 7) Robert D. Crouch, 67,
of Crouch's Farm, WV transitioned from this life to the next on June 15, 2020, surrounded by his family after a
five and half year battle with colon cancer. Rob was born July 20, 1952 to the late Robert C. and Bobbie Jean
Crouch. He lived his whole life on Crouch's Farm. He was a 1970 graduate of Oceana High School and attended
Beckley College before deciding to go into the coal mines where he worked thirty-four years. He loved to deer
and turkey hunt and spend time with his friends. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a beloved
daughter Desiree; a brother Mike Crouch; a nephew Lucas Marcum; and a dear aunt June Farren whom he loved
like a mother. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-six years Letha; a daughter Calista Trent; grandchildren
Finley Crouch, Kylee and Dylan Trent, whom he loved with all his heart; an aunt Phyllis Clark; sister-in-law Lana
Marcum; several nieces and nephews and too many friends to mention; his very dear friend Doug Trull, who
fought beside him all the way, the true meaning of friend. In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated. A
Memorial service will be held at 5:00 on Saturday June 27, 2020 at the Clear Fork Valley Baptist Church with
Pastor Erwin Gregory officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 3:00 until service time at the church
on Saturday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Southern WV. We would like to thank all of
the nurses who cared for him, especially Dena Spence, all of the friends who visited and made his last days more
bearable. Special thanks to Clear Fork Valley Baptist Church who's been there by our side throughout Rob's
