"Johnny Lee Hatfield, 75 of Iaeger, departed this life on Friday, November 25, 2016 from Logan Regional Medical Center."Born April 16, 1941 he was the son of the late Dean Hatfield (Deceased) and Tilda Hatfield (Deceased).
"In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Hatfield (Deceased) and Louise Hatfield-Farris (Deceased); and one brother, Frank Hatfield (Deceased).
"Johnny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed hunting and shooting his bow.
"Those left to love and cherish the memory of Johnny and to mourn his passing include his loving wife: Anna Hatfield of Iaeger; three sons, Robert Lee Hatfield and Johnny K. Hatfield both of Steeles, Greg Hatfield of Man; three grandchildren: Jessica Hatfield, Austin Hatfield and Amber Hatfield; five stepgrandchildren, Ethan Lester, Brooklyn Lester, Charity Lester and Cody Lester, Kelsey Belcher; two brothers, Jim Hatfield of Gilbert and Bruce Hatfield of Pineville; daughter in law: Amanda Thornsbury; six great-grandchildren: Jennalee Waldren, Jayden Waldren and Jackson Waldren, Braden Lester and Owen Thomas Hunt; many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

"Mary Frances Lorraine Johnston Smith, 56, of Briar Creek, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday,
September 24, 2016 at Bowers Hospice House. She was born on March 7, 1960 in Giles County, VA, a
daughter of the late Quinton and Helen McDonald Johnston. Mrs. Smith was a devoted mother who
enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed horseback riding, camping,
fishing, sewing, gardening, her flower garden and singing and playing the guitar with her brothers and
sisters. Mary attended the House of Refuge and New Hope Church of Indian Creek. In addition to her
parents she was preceded in death by her sister Deliliah Belle Smith; a brother Chad Lee Johnston; uncle
Jink Johnston; and two nephews John "JJ" Hopson, Jr. and Douglas "Junebug" Shelton. Survivors include
two sons Clint Smith, Jr. and fiancé Sarah of Oceana and Dustin Smith and wife Kelli of Huff Creek; a
daughter Sarah Smith and fiancé Josh Rowe of Briar Creek; two grandsons Braxton Blankenship and Easton
Smith; six brothers Quinton "QE" Johnston and wife Pat, Jim Johnston and wife Arlene and Alan Johnston
and wife Janet all of Mill Creek, Roy Johnston and wife Alicia of New Richmond, Gene Dameron and wife
