Mary Jo Harrison Witten, 81‚ and
husband James D. Witten, Sr.,82,
passed away July 2nd in a Florida
nursing home. They were victims
of the Corona Virus. Mary Jo was
born in Squire Apr 9,1939. Jim
was born March 2, 1938. Mary’s
parents were Carl and Myrtle Altizer
Harrison Jim’s parents were Trix
and Peggy Witten of Canebrake.
They attended Big Creek High
School. Mary retired from the
DMV in Glenbumie, Maryland.
Jim retired from Continental Can
Company m Baltimore. They were
preceded in death by their parents,
sister (Jeanita Little), brothers in
law (Harry Roberts, Ray Farmer,
and Bob Stroupe). Survivors include
their children: Jim Jr. (Brenda)
pf Brandon, Fl, David (Gail) of
Skesvr’lle.Md., Steve Witten of
Brooklyn Park, Md., Judy Witten
Boyle (Mike) of Pasadena, Md. and
eight grand children,and eight great
grand children and Mary’s siblings
Norma Roberts of Charleston,
WV, Shirley Farmer Phillips(Clay)
of Bluefield, Sandra Sue Stmupe
of Rocky Gap,Va. Roger and Jim
Harrison (Peggy) of Lerona, WV,
and bro. in law Henry Eddie Little
