"Hellen L. Cook, 81, of Oceana, WV passed away on Sunday February 25, 2018 in Broward Medical Center in
Florida after a short illness. Hellen was born September 3, 1936 in Braeholm, WV to the late Charley and
Ruth Farris. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Cook; brother Homer Farris ; and sister
Christine Farris. Hellen was a 1954 graduate of Man High School. She worked most of her adult life at Cohen
Drug at Man, Island Creek Dept. Store at Accoville, and manager of the Justonian Motel at Justice until she
retired. She was a member of the Oceana United Methodist Church, Oceana Women's Club and the DAR. She
also served on the Oceana City Council. Hellen is survived by her daughter Julie (Charlie) Stephenson of
Coral Springs, FL; her son Perry (Patti) Cook of Oceana; three grandsons Nick (Ashley) Cook of Oceana, Ben
(Sunny) Cook of Mooresville, NC and Brock Stephenson of Coral Springs, FL; a great granddaughter Lindsey
Cook; a great grandson Hudson Cook; four sisters Mary Jean Chambers of St. Pete, FL, Thelma (George)
Hosea of Conroe, TX, Peggy Stepp of Dayton, OH and Susan (Dale) Duncan of New Lebanon, OH along with
a host of nieces and nephews. As per her wishes, Hellen was cremated. There will be a celebration of
Hellen's life at 1PM on Saturday March 17th at the Oceana United Methodist Church, Oceana, WV.

"RICHLANDS, Va. -- Theodore Eugene (Ted) Falke, 70, of Richlands, Va., passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 at his home surrounded by his loving family following a lengthy illness."He was born in War and was the son of the late Walter and Dora K. Smith Falke. He was a graduate of Iaeger High School, Class of 1956. He was a contractor and home builder for many years. He had lived in the Richlands area for the last 25 years, and was of the Pentecostal faith.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Velma Louise Falke and one brother, Joseph Falke.
Survivors are: Daughters: Sharon Parkhurst and husband Jack of Richlands, Va., Katherine Rossignol of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters: Nancy Wimmer of Bradshaw, Mildred Cooper of Capon Bridge; brother, Rev.
