"Mack Edmond Bange Sr., 80, of Coppolo Mobile Home Park, Brushfork, formerly of Freeman, died Monday in a Bluefield hospital. Born in North Wilkesboro, N.C., he was a son of the late John A. and Luna C. Lowe Bange.
He was a member of the Bramwell Baptist Church and had lived in Brushfork for 11 years. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Marie Bange in 1986 and one daughter, Betty Jo Bange.
Survivors: sons, Charles Bange of Alexandria, Va., Mack Bange Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Roger Bange of Centreville, Va.; daughters, Mrs. Keith (Joan) Buchanan of Bluefield, Mrs. Charles (Carol) Baldwin of Pittsburgh, Pa., Mrs. Howard (Hazel) Belcher of Fairfax, Va.; brother, Robert Bange of Morven Falls, N.C.; sisters, Gladys Money of Clinton, Md., Omie Dodson, Leona Gentle and Nell Anderson of North Wilkesboro, N.C.; eight grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with the Rev. I.E. Morris officiating and burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. today."

"Mrs. Blanche Marie Bange, 70, of Coppola Mobile Home Park, Brushfork, formerly of Freeman, died in a Bluefield hospital Wednesday. She was born in Marion, Va., and was the daughter of the late James Boyd and Sarah Winebarger Marchant.
She was a member of the Bramwell Baptist Church and was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Jo Bange. She was a Brushfork resident for the past 10 years.
