"William "Bailey" Fritz III, age 42, of Jesse, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. Bailey was dedicated at the Pineville Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, being outdoors and playing with his dog Hooch and spending time with his companion, Nicole, and his family."Born January 6, 1971, in Beckley, he was the son of Linda Lyons-Fritz of Beckley and the late William "Bailey" Fritz Jr. (1949-2002). In addition to his father, Bailey is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Edward "Doody" Lyons, Sr (1926-2013); paternal grandparents, Bailey "Shorty" Fritz Sr. (1914-2000) and Margaret Craft-Fritz (Deceased); and a cousin, Timothy Westbrook (Deceased).
"Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Linda Lyons-Fritz; a son, William Bailey Fritz IV of Fanrock; a daughter, Margaret "Sarah Beth" Fritz of Beckley; his companion, Nicole Hatfield of Jesse; his grandmother, Ruby Lyons of Jesse; a sister, Christina Fritz-Sheppard & husband David of Milton; two nieces, Abby Sheppard and Lexi Sheppard of Milton; and several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

She was a homemaker and a loving mother of twelve children, grandmother of twenty-three, and the great-grandmother of seventeen."Anna Mae was born August 26, 1937 in McDowell County, a daughter of the late Roby “Red” Phillips (Deceased) and the late Ida Mae Stacy-Gibson-Phillips-Christian (1909–1988).
