"Myrtle was born January 25, 1922, in Lex, WV, a daughter of the William and Ocie Atwell. She was
a homemaker and a member of the Bradshaw Church of God. She was the last surviving member of
her original family.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bysha Winston in 1975; one daughter, Nancy Elizabeth; one sister, Bonnie Gross, and two brothers, Ed and Robert Atwell. Survivors include one son, Donald Winston and wife Pat of Belle, WV; one grandson, David Winston of Seattle, WA; two granddaughters, Michelle Casto and husband Eric of Pearland, TX, and Christie Donnell and husband Jason of Corpus Christi, TX; and one great granddaughter, Madison Schaney of Corpus Christi, TX.
"Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 12 noon with Reverend Don Morgan officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 11 o’clock until the time of services. Burial will follow in the Iaeger Memorial Cemetery at Roderfield, WV.
