"Francis was born in Georgia in 1887. His parents were William Harvey Parker and Martha Paralee Parker. His siblings were William Claud, Pearly Jane, and Barney Parker. Francis married Legan Hagan Parker. Their 3 children were Earl, Edith and Edna Parker. The family moved to Bartley WV so Francis could support his family by working in the coal mines. After his first wife died, then Francis married Rachel Hall. Their children were Francis JR, Jacqueline, and Billy Parker. Next Francis married Elizabeth Parker and they had one daughter. Francis was a boss in the mines and worked at Bartley mines for many years. Francis died August 10, 1957 at Welch, McDowell County, WV."
