"Kathleen Cole Morgan, 80, of Sunhill, WV passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Bowers Hospice
House, Beckley, WV. She was born on April 17, 1936 in Sunhill, WV a daughter of the late Roy and Sadie
Cline Cole. Kathleen was of the Methodist Faith and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a Christian all of her life and made God the center of it, and an excellent guide in answering
questions about the scriptures. Her most prized possessions were her husband, children and her bible.
Younger she always dreamed of having a job but gladly gave that up to take care of her children and this
gave her the most satisfaction and gratification. Kathleen was an accomplished seamstress beginning in her
young days making her daughter dresses out of flower sacks and became good enough to make clothes for
her teenage daughter, herself and many others. She was also an accomplished baker who made the best
chocolate pies and peanut butter fudge along with other pastries. In addition to her parents he is preceded
in death by a sister Carolyn Brown; and a daughter Sandra Morgan. Survivors include her loving husband of
63 years Chester Morgan; a daughter Anita Yvonne Morgan of Oceana; a son Timothy Chester Morgan of
Beckley; three grandchildren Cindy (JR) Cook, Amy Lusk and Bobby Lusk; five great grandchildren Taylor
Williams, Justin Prichard, Katie Cook, Jamie Cook and Madison Blankenship; a nephew Marty Brown; and a
host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 7, 2016
in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Erwin Gregory officiating. She will be
laid to rest in Morgan Family Cemetery, Sunhill, WV...."

Kenneth Edward "Kenny" Cook

"Kenneth Edward "Kenny" Cook, 63, of Lynco, WV passed away on Saturday October 31, 2020 at Ruby
Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He was born on January 17, 1957 in Pineville, WV a son of the late
Tennis Fred and Gladys Jackson Cook. Kenny was an avid WVU, Marshall and LA Lakers fan. He loved his
Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity brothers, and playing golf. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a
brother Ted Cook; a sister Margorie Brining and two infant sisters. Survivors include his loving wife of 35
years Rhonda Trull - Cook; a daughter Kayce Cook of Lynco; two sisters Vickie (Larry) Dancy and Sue (Bob)
Breeding both of Baileysville; two brothers James "J. B." (Phyllis) Cook of Elk Lick and Jody (Kim) Cook of
Pineville; a brother-in-law Paul Brining of Fort Myers, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving
family and friends. Special thanks to the ER departments of Raleigh General and Ruby Memorial Hospitals,
along with 5th floor medical ICU at Ruby Memorial. In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated. A
celebration of Kenny's life will be held in late spring or early summer. Due to Covid 19 the family asks
