"Patricia Paulette Stevens, 68, of Bunker Hill, WV formerly of Matheny, WV entered into her eternal
home on Monday, December 14, 2020, in the company of family at Winchester Medical Center in
Winchester, VA. She was born on March 4, 1952 in Welch, WV a daughter of the late Jesse and Mildred
Sullivan Stewart. Patricia was a member of the Matheny Church of God, a Majorette in the Oceana
Indians marching band, and a graduate of Oceana High School. She enjoyed sewing and making
Halloween costumes for her grandchildren, the fall season, and watching the changing of the leaves,
she is well known for her caretaking of the Coon Branch creek banks with her weedeater, enjoying Uno
and other card games with her brothers and sisters, and was an avid fan of anything her kids and
grandkids were involved in, supporting them from the stands in activities including cheerleading, girl
and boy scouts, baseball, basketball, and football. She was loved dearly by her family and friends. In
addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of seventeen years Terry Wayne
Stevens; a grandson Terry Wayne Kilgore; and her cherished sister Yvonne Graham. She is survived by
her daughter Christina Kilgore and husband David of Wise, VA; her son Andrew Stevens and wife Nicole
of Bunker Hill, WV; three sisters Diana Pennington, Sharon Milam, and Connie Dunford; two brothers
Timothy Stewart and Mark Stewart; six grandchildren that she cherished until her last day, David Allen
Kilgore, Michael Kilgore, Jenna Kilgore, Jessica Reynolds, Dylan Stevens, and Emily Stevens; and a host
of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Monday December 21, 2020
in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Pastor Jerry Graham officiating. She
will be laid to rest in Dunford Family Cemetery, Jumping Branch, WV. Family is welcoming friends to
gather from 11 am until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and
friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. "

"Ronnie Craighead, 67, of Powhatan, WV passed away at Bower’s Hospice House on Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born on July 13, 1953 in Powhatan, WV to the late Hosea Craighead and Avis Smith."Ronnie was the youngest of six siblings. He was a graduate of Northfork High School and a star basketball player. He served in the Army and spent a great number of years employed at DSCC as a Supervisor in Columbus,OH before returning back home to Powhatan, West Virginia. Ronnie was a true sports fan who loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Boston Celtics, and Ohio State. He was a free spirit who enjoyed music, traveling on the highway, good conversation, laughter and telling stories as only he could. Ronnie had an incredible sense of humor and loved spending time with his family and friends. He always had some kind of saying or joke for any situation. He was always ready and willing to hit the highway at a moment\’s notice as long as you had gas money! He enjoyed the big city life but would always say that he was a country boy at heart. Ronnie lived his life on his own terms until the very end. His personality will be missed by all who knew him.
"He is survived by his five children; Justin Craighead, Keria Craighead (Lyna Brooks), Michael Craighead, Raquel Johnson,and Ronnie M. Craighead.
"Grandchildren; Kianna Robinson, Mikala Norton, Jade Craighead, Kaseem Norton, Deaire Craighead, Savion Craighead, Savon Craighead, Sirron Craighead, and Damai Craighead.
"Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; grandmother: Blanche Wade, sisters: Betty “Peggy” Pleasant and Irma “Freda” Mathews.
"Ronnie leaves to cherish in his memory two brothers; Charles Smith and Larry Craighead, and sister; Marva Ann (David) Ransome along with a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and special friends.
