"This was rec'd 06/22/15:""I'm Jim Perkins, GG grandson of Squire Perkins.
I have to take exception to the written account that
Squire Perkins was maybe, might have been, killed in London, KY.
From the Family, My G Grandpa Peter Perkins, my Grandpa Frank Perkins..
The Family and all involved, have the account of his being killed in Cherry Bottom, TN, just north of Lake City, TN. There are written history accounts, published from not so long after, that substantiate this as factual.
"If there is not blatant evidence ensuring he was killed in London, KY, as suggested, then I'd like this written account provided, taken off this site.
Too, it does not mention Squire Perkin's wife, who she married after, where she & the children were moved with her.
"Simon Snyder, Clint Roe, & my GGG Grandpa were all killed by conferates at the same time. Please reply. Jim Perkins Find A Grave Member # 48776855"
