"COAL MOUNTAIN, W.Va. — Hazel Evelyn Toler, 90, of Coal Mountain, went home to be with the Lord, and to join her loved ones waiting for her in heaven, Thursday, September 17, 2009, from Logan Regional Medical Center."Born February 3, 1919, at Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Emma Bell Hanes. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Finley Toler Sr.; son, Finley Toler Jr.; three daughters, Evelyn Addison, Janet Thomas and Patricia Toler Sparks, and three grandchildren, Michael and Mark Addison and Irene Morgan.
"Hazel was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her heart of gold. Hazel was a homemaker and of the Freewill Baptist faith. She loved working with her flowers and scrapbooking. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
"Those left to love and cherish her memory include three daughters, Dorothy Allen of Welch, Annette (Darrell) Hatfield of Faber, Va., and Lana (Donnie) Hatfield of Coal Mountain; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; her special little helper and great grandson, J.T. Ellis, and a host of other dear family and friends.
