"Obituary Notice – Western World – 26 January 1939"Funeral services were held here Thursday afternoon for Archibald W. Brewster, 86, who died Wednesday at the Mast Hospital in Myrtle Point. He is survived by one son, Charles Brewster of Eastside, and one son and three daughters who live in Virginia.
"Brewster came to Bandon in 1918 from Virginia and has been a local rancher ever since. The services were held in the Baptist Church with Rev. D. Loree in charge.
"Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery. The body was removed last Wednesday to the Schroeder mortuary in Coquille...."
