"Robert Leroy Church Jr., age 55 of Big Sandy, WV, who departed this life on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in the comforts of his home, was born October 30, 1965 in Welch, WV. He was the son of the late Robert E. "Bob" and Lucinda "Tootsie" (Hall) Church. In earlier years, he was known as an outdoorsman who enjoyed both hunting and fishing. He was an avid WV "Mountaineers" football fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Billy Underwood and Steven Perkins; brother, Danny and sister, Joyce Church; grandparents: David and Clarenda Hall and Bessie Short; several aunts and uncles. He leaves treasured memories to his daughters: Jessica (Bart Dillon) Muncy, Connie "Peb" (Shane Barton) Perkins, Sally (Dale) Walker and special niece, Candace (Curt) Odell and his sons: Robert D. (Misti), David (Misty), Eric (Annette) and Jonathan Church; brother, Harold E.C.
