"Andrea Nanette Bower, 57, is now dancing and singing with Jesus. After a long struggle with dementia, on June 30, 2019, she became free from all pain and is walking on streets of gold with her Savior, Jesus Christ."Andy was born June 9, 1962, in Beckley, WV, with a condition known as Down Syndrome. Nevertheless, she was always a happy, funny, talented girl – truly EXTRAordinary. She was blessed with family, church members, and friends who loved and supported her.
"Andy left behind many people who will forever cherish and miss her. Among them are Pamela Bailey of Mullens, WV, who was her sister and surrogate mother; her brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Ray Bower, of Herndon Heights, WV; her sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Larry Holbrook, of Bulls Gap, TN; her sister, Ruby Pennington, of High Point, NC; a special niece-sister, Whitney, and her husband, Tim Estes, of Mullens, WV; and numerous adoring nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, James Bower Jr., and her mother, Clara Crooks.
