"Christopher Hannon "Cricket" Dixon, 41, of Oceana, WV, passed away on Wednesday October 8, 2014 in Richmond, VA. He was born on June 22, 1973 in Beckley, WV, a son of Joan Carol Toney Dixon of Lynco, WV and the late Joel Hannon Dixon. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his grandparents Willard and Kathleen Toney, and Joe and Mildred Dixon; and a special uncle Charlie Toney. Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons Dylan Jacob Dixon and Brandon Scott Dixon both of Oceana; wife Melissa Trent Dixon of Beaver; mother Joan Carol Toney Dixon of Lynco; a sister Clisty Hill of Oceana; a brother Teddy Joe Dixon of Glen Daniels; two nephews Hayden and Andy Hill of Oceana; two aunts Phyllis Toney of Lynco and Kathy Toney Thompson and husband David of Pineville; an uncle Bill Toney and wife Brenda of Norwalk, OH; and a host of cousins and other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday October 11, 2014 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Pastor Jay Morgan officiating.
