"Harold Wayne England, 74, of Davy, WV passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at his residence. Born March 30, 1947 in Iaeger, WV, he was the son of the late Charles and Grace Davis England. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who devoted his life to his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a resident of McDowell County all of his life. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a retired coal miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth England; step sons: Thomas and Mike Chambers; two sisters: Shelby Steele and Katherine Price; three brothers: Luther, Frank and Junior England. Surviving family members include his daughters: Dreama Hammond of Davy, WV and Debra Green of Davy, WV; two sons: Harold England, Jr. of Davy, WV and Jeffrey England of Princeton, WV; James Chambers of Highpoint, NC; step son, Steve Chambers of Maryland; one sister, Ruth Steele of Iaeger, WV; grandchildren: Christopher Hammond, Naomi Green, Nick Jones, Kate England, Hereiss and Lilly England, Sierra Shaw, Paul Shaw, Jr., J.J. Lester, Michelle, Mikey, and Jonathon Chambers, Steve Chambers, Thomas Chambers and Danny Chambers. He had several great grandchildren including: Juliett Bonds, Bentley Shaw, Joel Lucas and Josie Chambers. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, April 30, 2021 at 1 P.M. from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, WV with Pastor Marie Bolden officiating; burial will follow at the New Community Cemetery in Asco, WV. Sons and Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call Friday, April 30, 2021 from 12 Noon to 1 P.M. at Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, WV.
