He loved the Lord, his family, and was an avid fisherman. He was an UMWA Member, having worked for Consol Mining and Doss Fork Mining. He established the Hands of Hope Food Bank Ministry, Anawalt, WV. He was instrumental in forming the little league in Anawalt.
"They had one daughter, Sheila and David Bell of Richmond, VA; three sons, Randy and Sheila Wooldridge of Pageton, WV, Mark and Pamela Wooldridge; and Todd and Gracie Woodridge of Leckie, WV. They had nine grandkids, eleven great-grandkids; and a special caregiver, Shelly Nelson. They were members of Abundant Life Ministry in Maybeury, WV.
