"REV. MANUEL M.C.' WYATT CLYDE - The Rev. Manuel Clifford "M.C." Wyatt, 90, of 30 Morgan St., died Thursday, July 3, 1997, at the Britthaven Nursing Home. A native of Haywood County, he was a son of the late George and Mary Wright Wyatt. He was a graduate of Fruitland Bible Institute and a member of Grandview Baptist Church. He was a retired Baptist minister and served as former pastor of Grand-view, Camp Branch, Bumette Siding, Laurel Grove, Crabtree, Woodland Baptist Churches in Haywood County and was former pastor of the First Baptist Church in Hamilton, Wash., and Mount Hope and lotla Baptist Churches in Macon County. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Pearl Sprinkle Wyatt; four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ruth and Roy McCracken of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., Josephine and Harold Dunford of Richmond, Va., Betty and Jerry Young and Louise and John Henry of Franklin; three sons and daughters-in-law, Clifford George and Janice Wyatt of Morganton, Ray and Ernestine Wyatt of Waynesville, and David and Peggy Wyatt of Charlotte; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Aliens Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Lloyd C. Fish Jr. and Glenn Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Branch Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mack Smith, Jerry Young, John Henry, Harold Dunford, Scott Wyatt and Lewis Stewart. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Wells Funeral Home, Waynesville.
