"Rivana Louise Billings Belcher, 87, of Beckley, went home to be with our Lord surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Jesse O. Billings and Mary E. Tilley Billings."In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Belcher; two children, David Dwayne Belcher and Russell Willis Belcher; sisters, Vacie Cooper, Mildred Graham, Nannie Bailey, Bonnie Shrewsbury, Lucille Brunty and Rebecca Billings; brothers, Riley Billings, Ervin Billings, Clifford Billings, Gilbert Billings, Eldridge Billings, Golden Billings and Isaac Billings.
"Louise was a woman of faith and found much pleasure in reading her Bible and spending time with the Lord in prayer. Her favorite verse was John 3:16. She was a devoted homemaker and loved gardening, canning and preparing food for family and friends. Louise was a natural nurturer and deeply inspired the principles of integrity in her children and grandchildren's lives. Each of them has special, precious memories of time spent with her. Her hobbies included working puzzles, sewing, crocheting and quilting.
"Survivors include daughter, Bonnie Fox (Denny) of Beckley; grandchildren, Rick Roberton (Buffy), Jeff Belcher (Juli), Cindy Allen (Robbie), Angie Hargrove (Jason), Traci McNeely (Jesse), Lena Belcher, Larissa Mellnick (Jensen), Tara Belcher; 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
