"PRINCETON – Billy Ray Crouse, 84 of Bluefield formerly of Iaeger died Saturday, January 30, 2021. Born August 14, 1936 in Iaeger he was the son of the late Suel Crouse and Helen Parsons Crouse."Mr. Crouse was a veteran of the US Army and worked fifty years in the coal industry. He enjoyed watching westerns and was an avid WVU and Cincinnati Reds fan.
"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several extended family members and two beloved pets, Brandy and Holly.
"Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Head Crouse; daughter, Sherry Blankenship and husband Eugene of Hanover, WV; one granddaughter Tonia Chinsolo and husband Jason of Bluefield; three great grandchildren, Abby, Holly and Brady Chinsolo; special friends who were like daughters to him, Lisa Mullins and Michelle Vanover both of Iaeger; one brother, Bob Crouse and wife Carol of Havre-de-Grace, MD and several nieces and nephews.
"A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Long officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
