"Augustine John Signaigo, age 91 of Welch, passed away on December 18, 2018. Born September 18, 1927, in Welch, West Virginia, he was the son of Leo James Signaigo Sr. and Mollie Ellen Trent Signaigo. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sonia Sue Snodgrass Signaigo, and his brother, Leo James Signaigo, Jr.
Survivors include his son, John Augustine Signaigo, of Welch, and his daughter, Sue Ellen Akers, son-in-law, Anthony Akers, and his grandson, Tyler Anthony Akers of Pearl, Mississippi.
He was a graduate of Welch High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
He started his banking career with the First National Bank of Narrows, in Narrows Virginia. He worked for the Comptroller of the Currency as an Assistant National Bank Examiner. He was the President of the Bank of Iaeger when he retired.
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, December 21, 2018 at 2 P.M. from the Mausoleum at Roselawn Memorial Park in Princeton, WV, with Pastor Scott Long officiating. Entombment will follow the Services. Friends may visit with the family Friday, December 21, 2018, from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the Mausoleum in Roselawn Memorial Park, Princeton, WV...."

"WELCH Sonia Sue Signaigo, age 74, of Welch, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at Charleston Area Medical Center, General Division, in Charleston, W.Va. Born September 22, 1935, in Calvin, Lee County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Ruth Willis Snodgrass.
She was a graduate of Welch High School. She was a Registered Nurse graduate of Lewis Gale Hospital in Roanoke, Va. She was an Assistant Superintendent of Nurses at Grace Hospital in Welch, W.Va.
Survivors include her husband, Augustine Signaigo; her son, John A. Signaigo of Welch; one daughter, Sue Ellen Signaigo and her husband Anthony Akers and their son Tyler Anthony Akers of Pearl, Miss.; and one sister, Theresa Ann Branch of Parkersburg, W.Va.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 13, 2010 at 1 p.m. from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch with the Reverend Diane Hall officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton."

He was a proud U. S. Army Veteran serving in the World War II 1986 Division of Military Police and was a proud charter member of World War II Memorial.
