"She was a resident of Gary the greater part of her life living in Welch the past 16 years. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church in Welch. She was a former member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Choir and Altar Society in Gary and an avid gardener.
"She was preceded in death by, in addition to her parents, her husband, William "Bill" Terry; three brothers, John, George and Joseph; two sisters, Helen Giles and Elizabeth Cassett; one granddaughter, Donna Marie Stanley; one grandson, Richard Scott Morgan.
"Survivors include five daughters, Deanna Blankenship and husband Earl of Thorpe, Patricia Smith and husband Fred Jr. of Jacksonville, N.C., Deborah Charles and husband Dennis of Hardy, Va., Mary Stanley and husband Ray of Jacksonville, N.C., Donna Moens and husband Andrew of Sturgeon Bay, Wis.; four sisters, Mary Williams and Margaret Wasilewski, both of War, Julia Blevins of Booneville, N.C., Ann Riffe of Rush, Ky.; two brothers, Franklin Wargo of Cocoa, Fla., Michael Wargo of Biloxi, Miss.; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and the joy of her life, her little dog, Baby.
