"Hazel Black entered her heavenly home on June 27th, 2021 following a long illness. Hazel was the daughter of Clara Hagerman Woody and Malcom Green, and dedicated step-father Blaine Woody. Born on September 29, 1938. Hazel was a dedicated CNA and caregiver her whole life. She could always be found taking care of folks and cleaning homes. She had a passion for Nature, her flowers and garden were always beautiful . Hazel loved her fur babies and family with a fierce passion." Hazel was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wade Black, both of her parents, Step-Father Blaine Woody, a brother, Arthur Hawks, a granddaughter Nicole Renee, and 1 son Charles Newton Mote.
"Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Blaine Mote, Ronald Mote (Anya) of Louisiana, Linzie Jr. Mote of Indiana, Sara Evans (Richard) of West Virginia, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a brother Kenneth Woody and sister Romia Ann Olsen and 2 stepsisters, Juanita and Shirley Mae.
