"Alice Mae Osborne, 96, of Coon Branch Mountain near Iaeger, WV, earned her Heavenly Wings June 27, 2016 at Welch Community Hospital in Welch, WV, following a sudden illness.
"Alice was born November 17, 1919, in Stacy, VA, a daughter of the late Henderson and Darkie Mullins. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the last surviving member of her original family was a very loving and caring person who loved everyone. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
"In addition to her parents Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Rural Osborne; an infant daughter, Sally Ann and her baby daughter, Birdie Osborne Reynolds; and two special sons-in-law, Jim Reynolds, Sr. and Danny Clevenger, Sr.
"Those left behind to mourn her loss are three daughters, Elizabeth Clevenger of Coon Branch Mountain with whom she made her home; Myrtle Osborne of the home; Bonnie Reynolds and husband Mike of Abingdon, VA; two sons, Jack Osborne and wife Darlene of Athens, WV, and Edward Osborne and wife Kaye of Iaeger, WV; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; her special friends Essie Estep of Bluefield, WV, and Imogene Muncy of Roderfield, WV; and other special family members and friends.
"Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 1 o'clock with Reverend Lewis Kennedy and Reverend Steve May officiating at the High Knob Church of the Living God on Coon Branch Mountain near Iaeger, WV. Burial will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery on Coon Branch Mountain near Iaeger, WV...."
