"Rita Faye Blankenship, 65, of Matheny, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 24, 2021 at her home. She was born on July 3, 1956 in Premier, WV a daughter of the Allen J. Stone, and the late Geraldine Lambert Stone. Rita is a member of the Faith Baptist Church. In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by her son Michael Jeremy Fain a brother Darrell Stone and a nephew Mark Stone. In addition to her father survivors include her loving husband of 31 years William Boyd Blankenship three sons Joshua Fain of Matheny, Jason Boyd Nelson of Morgantown, and James Darrell Blankenship of Matheny an adopted daughter Andrea (Jeff) Graham of KY a sister Dorothy Bower of Matheny, Allen U. (Linda) Stone of Matheny six grandchildren Mikey, Brentley, Peyton, Aaliyah, Grayson and Huntlee and a host of other loving family and friends. Graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 29th at the Palm Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Matheny, WV with Rev. Jerry Graham officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 10:30 am until time of service at the Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."
