"Buster Stanley ELKHART Buster Stanley, 60, of 3108 Homer, died Friday at his home. He had been employed by the Elkhart Rubber Works until he became ill and before that was a coal miner in West Virginia. He was born on Aug. 16, 1918, in Coalwood, W. Va. and had lived in Elkhart since 1962, when he came here from West Virginia. On Oct. 2, 1940 in McDowell County, W. Va., he married Ruth G. McCarty, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jerry Brimhall of Goshen; three sons, Douglas of Cypress, Calif., William of Sebring, Fla., and Leland of Elkhart; 12 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Walter Cantrell, Mrs. Arnold Sparks, Mrs. Arthur Gilliand and Mrs. Margie Thomas, all of Davy, W. Va., and two brothers, Franklin Vaughn of Goshen and Billy Ray Vaughn of Seattle, Wash. Friends may after 2 p.m. Monday in the Westbrook-Metz-Clouse Funeral Home, where arrangements are pending. He was a member of the Elkhart Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge of Llgonier. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elkhart County Heart Association."
