"Dennis Randolph Day, 61, of Jolo, WV, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN.

"Dennis was born June 28, 1959 in Welch, WV, a son of the late Hursty and Christine Mitchell Day. He spent 43 years in coal mining and strip mining.

"In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by one brother, Hursty David Day.

"Survivors include his loving wife, Tonya Kay Day and grandson, Donathan Blaine Addair both of the home; daughter, Brandi LeAnn Puckett of Richlands, VA; son Dennis Lewis (DL) Day and wife Rachel and grandsons Landon and Leenix and granddaughter Layla all of Lebanon, VA; brother, Jerry Day and wife Ginger of Jolo, WV; sister, Christy Collins and husband Cheyenne of Statesville, NC; sister-in-law, Tawnya Day of Troutman, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted, Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 1 o’clock with Reverend Charles Rose officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in the Jewell/Mitchell Cemetery on Rockridge near Paynesville, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis (DL) Day, Donathan Addair, David Day, Allen Day, Daniel Day, Logan Collins, and Sean Hornstra. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Day, Cheyenne Collins, Glen Mullins, Dwight Estep, Landon Day and Skyler Hawks.

"Friends may visit with the family at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger Saturday morning November 21, 2020, from 12 noon until time of services at 1 o’clock.

"Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced with no more than 25 people in attendance.

"Della June Campbell, 89, of Big Sandy, WV passed away Monday, May 17, 2021. Born March 30, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Sam Payne and Hattie Keaton. Della was a devoted Homemaker; resident of McDowell County all of her life who greatly enjoyed time spent with family and trips to South Holston Lake. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Charles E. Campbell; one daughter, Charlene Buchanan; one son, Michael Campbell; two grandsons: Charles Rocchi and David Buchanan; as well as one granddaughter, Michelle Campbell. Surviving family members include: four daughters: Linda & Ronald Lantz of Chicago, IL; Beverly Shepard of Athens, WV; Kimberly & Ricky Rocchi of Athens, WV and Melanie Campbell of Big Sandy, WV; three sons: Jerry Campbell of Athens, WV; Timothy Campbell of Lexington, NC and Anthony Campbell of Hensley, WV as well as being abundantly blessed with twenty two grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1 P.M. from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, WV with Pastor Lacy Griffith officiating; burial will follow at the Iaeger Memorial Cemetery in Roderfield, WV. "Robert “Rob” H. Conrad, 47, of Roderfield, WV, passed away December 31, 2021 at his residence. Born September 6, 1974 in Elkton, MD, he was the son of Gloria Watson of Mace, WV and the late James Lee Conrad Sr.

"He moved to McDowell County in 2009. In 2015 he met his love Deanna Wright and her daughter Brooklin, which he loved as his own. He pursued Deanna with the quote “let’s go to Wendy’s and share a bowl of chili, a pack of crackers and a water”. Rob loved to scare Deanna and then would say “Aww I Love You Honey!” and laugh. Rob was employed by Gilco Lumber Company of Roderfield. He was an excellent carpenter and loved doing good work. Rob was also a Veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp. Rob loved his beer and was always smiling. He never met a stranger. He loved being around people offering to help in any way or just to make them smile.

"In addition to his father; he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly.

"In addition to his mother; those left to cherish his memories are two sons, Christopher and Tyler Conrad of Pennsylvania; two brothers, James Lee Conrad Jr of Pittsburg, PA, Ronald Conrad of Richmond, VA; two sisters, Pamela Howerton of Sophia and Susan Frantz of Middletown, DE.
