She was born on September 5, 1911 in the Maxwell area of Tazewell County, and was a daughter of the late Henry Coy and Tina Marie Maxwell Trivette, both Tazewell County natives. She belonged to the Baptist faith. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Joann Peery McElmurray, and son-in-law, Edward McElmurray, of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Fred McElmurray and his wife, Mary Anne, of Salem, and Shari A. McElmurray Holbrook and her husband, Clark, of Greensboro, N.C.; two great-grandchildren, Phillip Edward McElmurray and John Alexander McElmurray; four sisters, Ellore Whittaker of Boone, N.C., Lillian Hoops and Vivian Mulkey, both of North Tazewell, and Mary Rader of Radford; one brother, William Trivette of Florence, Ky. "Billy Lee Turner, 65, of Princeton died peacefully at his home on January 3, 2017. Born September 14, 1951 in Mercer County and raised in Sandlick, he was the son of the late Robert Turner and Mildred Lucille White Turner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Turner Fleming and honorary brother, Michael Pratt.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of forty six years, Betsy Ann Allen Turner; one daughter, Christie Turner-Linares and husband Ivan of Bluffton, SC; two granddaughters, Victoria Linares and Ivana Linares; one brother, Robert “Bobby” Turner and wife Glenna of Bluewell; one nephew, Brad Turner and wife Dafney of Bluewell; one step daughter, Tonya Allen Walkup and husband Troy of King, NC; and great niece and nephew, Allison and Seth. Billy worked in the concrete business nearly all his life. He was certified in all aspects of the concrete business with multi-state certifications. Billy started his career in 1974 in Princeton with Compton Construction and continued to work in Mercer County until 1999 when the concrete business led him down south to Bluffton, SC. There, he continued on that same path until 2014. In October 2016, the same path that led him to Bluffton, SC led him back home to Princeton, WV. Besides working he also had hobbies. He loved guns and all that comes with them. Billy loved to shoot, melt his own lead, load his own bullets, and spend time on the gun range. He also loved music, singing, NASCAR, and drag racing. Billy also loved the Lord. In 2015 he became a Pastor which gave him great joy. To know Billy was to love him and he was known by many and loved by all.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum in Princeton. Serving as pallbearers will be Ivan Linares, Troy Walkup, Brad Turner, Timmy Ingram, Jimmy Hill and Kyle Hill. Honorary pallbearers are Robert “Bobby” Turner and Keith Allen. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service hour on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mercer County Animal Shelter, 961 Shelter Rd., Princeton, WV 24740."

"...Betsy Ann Allen Turner, 66, formerly of Princeton, WV went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December, 2, 2017. Betsy was born February 15, 1951 in West Virginia to the late Aaron O. Allen and Lillian Juanita Akers Allen. While living in Princeton, she served the Department of Health and Human Services for 26 years as a Social Worker before moving to South Carolina where she worked in Retail Management for about 14 years. She loved flowers and gardening. Betsy was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee Turner, one brother William “Bill” Allen and her very special friend/sister Eraina Jane Fine. He was born on December 3, 1950 in Oceana, WV a son of the late Clifton Harry and Virginia Juanita Yates Walls. He attended the First Baptist Church of Bluewell and is a 1969 graduate of Oceana High School. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Janet Sue Linkous Walls a brother Mark Walls his grandmother Anna Byrd Walls who raised him as her own.
