"Erma Jean “Jeannie” Gibson, 63, of Iaeger, WV, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 in the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. Jeannie was born August 26, 1958, in Baltimore, MD a daughter of the late Stuart Daniel and Edna Rowe Robinette. She loved her Bible and going to church, and she loved her cat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Bonnie Louise Robinette, Bertha Robinette and Carol Beckner, and two brothers Junior and James Robinette. Survivors include one daughter and a granddaughter; a step-daughter, Heather Waddell and a step-granddaughter Hannah Waddell both of Greensboro, NC; a sister, Virgie Beckner of Lick Branch; three brothers, Lawrence, Ronnie, and Lonnie “Rosie” Robinette all of Lick Branch; and a special niece, Bernice Gibson. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 1 o’clock with Elder Fred Bailey, Reverend Gary Walker, Reverend Teddy Vance and Reverend James Vance officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in Iaeger Memorial Cemetery at Roderfield. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, Tuesday morning, October 19, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
