"Marlene Kaye Bell, 67, of Twin Branch, WV was called to her heavenly home on July 11, 2024, at WVU Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, West Virginia. Born on April 21, 1957, in Welch, WV, a daughter of the late Roland Potter and Annie Lusk Potter. Marlene was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend"Marlene was a lifelong resident of McDowell County and cherished her roots dearly. She attended Twin Branch Pentecostal Trinity Assembly, Marlene's faith played a significant role in her life. Among her many interests, Marlene was especially passionate about quilt making, a hobby that not only showcased her creativity but also served as a means of expressing her love and care through the beautiful quilts she crafted for her family and friends.
"In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her sister Nina Church, brother Roland Lee Potter Jr., and infant sister Inis Louise Potter.
"She shared 51 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Bobby Bell, who remains at the family home along with their daughter, Delores Bell. Marlene also leaves behind her twin sister, Darlene Tate and her husband Jerry of Twin Branch, WV; sister Mary Duncan of Welch, WV; brother Terry Potter of Twin Branch, WV; and brother Johnny Potter and his wife Sherry of Davy, WV. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
"A woman of grace, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her loved ones, Marlene's memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
