"Franklin Delano Bane, 84, of Oceana, WV passed away on Saturday February 9, 2019 Bowers Hospice
House, Beckley, WV. He was born January 5, 1935 in Glen Rogers, WV a son of the late Fred and Essie Pearl
Polk Bane. Franklin is a member of the GM United Auto Workers. In addition to his parents he is preceded
in death by his wife Jean Bane; three sisters Margie Bane, Jessie Thompson and Edna Bane; three brothers
Zane H. Bane, Billy J. Bane and Gene Bane. Survivors include two daughters Debra (Estil) Jenkins of TN and
Michelle (companion Jeff Allamon) Bane of OH; two sons Darrell (Gloria) Bane and Frank (Chris) Paserk all
of OH; a brother Kenneth D. Bane of Clear Fork; nine grandchildren Shayna, Jillian, Tim, Linda, Mary, Marc,
Brandon, Shawn and Steven; six great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral
services will be held at Noon on Friday February 15th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco,
WV with Rev. Algie Cook officiating. He will be laid to rest in the McDonald Hinkle Cemetery, Clear Fork,
WV. Friends may gather with the family from 5-8PM on Thursday February 14th at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home,
Lynco, WV."
