"A blessing from God, Laken Colton Hunter Morgan was born May 20, 1997 at Princeton, to Diane Barnett, and Vincent Morgan. Laken Grew up in Lashmeet and Bristol Tn. As a child, she was alswys happy and smiling, earning her the nickname "Smiley". Laken loved adventure. She enjoyed ziplining, skating, swimming, 4 wheeler riding. She loved traveling, going to beaches, big cities, drawing, listening to music, hanging out with friends, but most of all, she loved her daughter. Laken had a contagious smile, a personality that could brighten anyones day, and a heart of Gold. She had the ability to make anyone laugh, no matter what kind of mood she had. She made friends everywhere she went, loved everyone and judged no one. Laken touched many lives and sadly gained her wings on October 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her sister Suzanna Ranal Morgan, and paternal grandmother Betty Sue Shell Morgan. She will be forever missed by daughter, Madison Bryant of Dallas N.C.
