"Oliver Leo Maynard, 73, of Jesse, WV passed away on Monday March 16, 2020 at Appalachian Regional Hospital,
Beckley, WV. He was born on February 26, 1947 in Kopperston, WV a son of the late Oliver and Stella Nichols
Maynard. Leo attended the New Richmond Chapel and is a Free Mason. In addition to her parents he is preceded
in death by wife Dallas Augusta Maynard; a daughter and son-in-law Edith and Lonnie Lusk; and a grandson Terry
Wayne Daniels. Those left to cherish his memory include his children Frankie and Mary Canterbury, Susan and
Greg Sluss, Michael and Susie Canterbury and Lynn and Terry Daniels; special nephew Scott and Stacy Orman Rye;
his grandchildren Angie and Jeff Dunigon, Chris Canterbury, Jeremy and Kiera Daniels, Rebecca and Matt Adams,
Carrie and James Avis, Sunny and Ben Cook, Matt (Nicki Daniels) Sluss, Sasja (Randy Clay) Canterbury, Sandra
and Mack Cannada and Ricky Lusk; his great grandchildren Corey and Carli Davis, Casey and Cheyanne Davis,
Chloe Davis, Angel, Celia Good and Legacy Spurlock, Kayden Avis, Jackson Moore, Reese Adams, Carolyn Daniels,
Rebecca Daniels and Hudson Cook, Cole Canterbury, Dylan Canterbury and Eli Clay; a sister Sandra and Harold

nephews and other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday March 20th in
the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Dalley Maynard, Rev. Jack Meadows and Rev.
Ron Harvey officiating. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with
the family from 5-8 pm on Thursday March 19th at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The
family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."

"Dallas Augusta Maynard, 82, of Jesse, WV passed away on Saturday January 16, 2016 at the Bowers
Hospice House, Beckley, WV. She was born on June 2, 1933 in Naoma, WV a daughter of the late Alba and
Nello (Dickens) Hendricks. Dallas was a member of the Guyandotte Baptist Church of Jesse. She was a
devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, cross stitching, her daily puzzles, her
flower gardens and above all spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she is preceded in
death by two brothers Eugene and Joe Hendricks; a daughter Edith Lusk; and a grandson Terry Wayne
Daniels. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 43 years Oliver Leo Maynard; her
children Frankie and Mary Canterbury of Oceana, Susan and Greg Sluss of Kopperston, Michael and Susie
Canterbury of Oceana and Lynn and Terry Daniels of Matheny; her grandchildren Angie and Jeff Dunigon,
Chris and Brandi Canterbury, Jeremy and Kiera Daniels, Rebecca and Matt Adams, Carrie Good, Sunny and
Ben Cook, Matt Sluss and Sasja Canterbury; her great grandchildren Corey, Casey and Chloe Davis, Angel,

"Mrs. Mary E. White Avery age 102, a life long resident of Northfork, WV, who peacefully transitioned this life on Friday, September 18, 2020 in Princeton, WV was born August 12, 1918 in Pulaski, VA. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Maggie (Page) White. After completing her education, she became a homemaker. Before beginning her Mission for Christ over 54 years ago, she was a former member of both Mt. Chapel Baptist Church in Keystone, WV and the First Baptist Church in Kimball, WV. She loved praising the Lord and reading her Bible. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 1993 by the love of her life, her husband, William Avery and a daughter, Dorothy Robinson; son-in-law, Charles Berry; three brothers: Robert White, Nathaniel Page and Joe Lee White and her four sisters: Mildred Howard, Dorothy Hawkins, Lena Hairston and Gladys Page. Mrs. Avery was the last surviving member of her original family. She leaves a life time of cherished memories to her daughter, Bural Berry of Philadelphia, PA; two granddaughters, Cheryl (Keith) Benion of Nashville, TN and Sharon Robinson of Philadelphia; four great-grandchildren: Tiffany Robinson, Kori, Saidah and Zuri Benion and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives. Mrs. Avery's Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell, WV. Entombment will follow in Restlawn Mausoleum. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch, WV (to leave on line condolences: www.gregory-pagefh.com.) Social distancing and wearing of masks will be observed. In lieu of flowers, her request was donations to be made to St. Jude's Hospital for children. "
